Cascadian Nurseries is a success story built upon providing for our customer's needs by creating a one-stop horticultural distribution center..

In July of 1961, Alfred (Fred) Meisner, his wife Carla, and their three month old twins, Rob and Art, emigrated from their homeland in Holland to the United States. Their youngest son Ed was born in Oregon.

From 1969 Cascadian Nurseries was located at NW 143rd and Thompson Road in Washington County until May 2003. During this time, we created a one-stop horticultural distribution center by providing everything at one location that the landscape professional needed to help them operate a profitable business. In September 2008, we added Cascadian All In One LLC for your bark, professional soil mixes and textured aggregate needs.

The first 20 acres of the new property was purchased in 1988 at our present location. At present the nursery has expanded to over 100 acres and has 45 acres known as Farm Park, which includes a 12 acre rural industrial park that was known as the plastic factory. This site has been leased to many tenants relating to agricultural and horticultural services including United Pipe & Supply, Cascadian All In One LLC, and several landscape companies.

We are very thankful and proud of our new location. The 20 acre sales yard is well laid out and has a brand new office complex, as well as over 75,000 square feet of greenhouses and many extensive shade houses for production.

Our field production is well over 80 acres of gentle sloped properties. We are a green company and have provided and maintained 20 acres of wetlands with ponds, lakes, and streams for wildlife habitat.

Our customer base consists of approximately 400 regular landscape companies, plant brokers, retail and wholesale nurseries, including architects and designers, developers, golf courses, and parks all within the Portland/Seattle metro areas. Our customers also extend into northern California and the Rocky Mountain states to the east coast.

Our success is due in part to the service we provide to our customers as your grower and broker of excellent quality plant material from leading growers on the west coast.
