    Trees With European Artistry
    Featured Plant

Take a look at the article in January's issue of the OAN's Digger magazine Trees in training. The article includes a piece on our espaliered shade and flowering trees.

Have you ever wanted to use a tall, narrow, upright tree against large blank walls of buildings or even to try something different as a street tree or parking lot tree? There are so many ways to use these trees, from screens and living fences, to covering up large blank walls, to lining driveways, and exclusive entries and boulevards. They are being used in commercial and residential applications from the east coast, to the rocky mountain states, to the west coast. Even vineyards are using them to enhance their landscapes copying the old European artistry. We have hundreds of Platanus acerifolia (London Plane Tree), Tilia americana 'Redmond',Tilia cordata varieties (European Linden), and four varieties of Pyrus calleryana (flowering Pear)- 'Aristocrat', 'Autumn Blaze', 'New Bradford', and Edgewoodii and working with Cercidiphyllum (Katsura Tree) for a future introduction.
